How We Celebrate – 1970’s Disco Fever Theme Week

The disco balls are coming down! From July 21st – 25th, we celebrated our Disco Fever Theme Week with a five-night-long fusion of funk, Floyd, and 70’s-fueled nostalgia. From Assisted Living to Legacy Lanes, good vibes were flowing through every neighborhood hall – as captured by some of the grooviest Theme Week threads we’ve ever seen residents and staff pull off.
In the dining room, our four-star chefs brought recipes straight from The Man to life – dishing out one-of-a-kind meals that any respectable food critic could only describe as “absolutely gas, objectively out of sight.” These far-out flavors included everything from juicy steak and lobster to fluffy baked potatoes and mouth-watering specialty options:
Of course, no Theme Week would be complete without the efforts of our amazing Life Enrichment team. On the activities front, our residents grooved to the rhythm of 70’s-inspired programs and activities – including fondue parties, disco dance-offs, musical bingo, and DIY projects that had our residents saying “Wish You Were Here”.
