Grab some sunscreen and an ice-cold drink – because we’ve got some amazing stories to help you cool down from the heatwaves. Here are some of our favorite summer moments that have been happening across our 130+ senior living communities so far.

meadows of kalida residents
Residents of The Meadows of Kalida have been soaking up sunshine in the community garden, where fresh fruits are being picked and used to create refreshing strawberry shakes. Nothing like some vitamin D and a sweet treat to cool off from a 90-degree day.
indoor skydiving
In what may be one of our favorite captured moments, Howard of Ridgewood Health Campus decided to take flight with an iFLY Cincinnati indoor skydiving experience. Joined by his brother-in-law Brandon, Howard felt the wind beneath his wings as family and staff members alike cheered the duo on. His face alone tells the full story.
Check out the full video of Howard’s indoor skydiving experience!
joyce at autumn woods
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Joyce of Autumn Woods Health Campus celebrated her 90th birthday – joined by members of the New Albany Police Department, who honored her legacy as the city’s first female police officer.
residents fishing
Meanwhile at Thornton Terrace Health Campus, one Ms. Delphine went shopping for bait and a rod before enjoying a relaxing afternoon spent fishing by the pond. The seasoned reel expert came ready with stories, shared tips that her dad taught her, and had a wonderful afternoon being Thornton Terrace’s true catch.
eugene and dorothy
Last but not least, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Eugene and Dorothy of Valley View Health Campus, who are celebrating 71 years of marriage – and being one of our most photogenic couples ever.

We’ve had the time of our lives making new memories this summer – and the good times are just getting started. To see more of our 2025 highlights, be sure to keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram, where we’ll be posting more of our best days yet!
