And that’s a wrap! Our “Party in the USA” Theme Year recently came to a tremendous close with our latest Theme Dinner celebration, Nashville Boot Scootin’ Boogie. We rounded out an entire year’s worth of Theme Week festivities with a good old fashioned night of country music, line dancing, cowboy hats, and delicious food to boot! Getting to experience this Tennessee-style hoedown has all of us excited for what 2020 has in store, and has left us with memories to cherish for years to come.
On October 24th, our chefs presented our residents with a specialized meal: Boot Scootin’ BBQ Beef and Chicken! This delicious dual entrĂ©e featured Barbequed Beef Brisket and Grilled Chicken thighs, and was served with Bacon Green Beans, deep fried Macaroni, and a cheese wedge. Dessert was also served in the form of Country Sweet Apple Cobbler with Butter Pecan Ice Cream, topped with caramel sauce, fresh mint, and whipped cream. Whether they were enjoying their dinner in Muncie or McConnelsville, everyone involved couldn’t help but get into the Nashville spirit!
Thank you to everyone who made this Theme Dinner an experience to be remembered, and thank you for making 2019 our greatest Theme Year yet.
