I’ve been appreciative of The Lakes of Monclova’s good care for my husband. Most of the staff are very willing to answer questions, and if my husband requires something special, they listen and do what they can. All of the areas are very kept up and very clean. They’re just getting into the activities, but what’s interesting is because of COVID, they would point in the direction of everybody’s TV and they would play bingo in their rooms. They have a happy hour on Fridays; they’re starting to pick up on their activities so they can play the different games and things that people can participate in. The food is good; my husband doesn’t dislike their food. Overall, I think they’re a good facility and I think they understand the needs of their residents. We’ve been to a few others before, and I like this the best.
