We found Forest Park to be a very friendly place that was eager to please and make residents comfortable. Grandma grew up in Richmond, so she’s meeting people that she can relate to. We think it’s going to be a good fit. They have cleaning people, people to do laundry, health staff, and nurses. There’s a nice entryway with a comfortable fireplace, two dining rooms, two outdoor garden areas, and two nurses’ stations. It’s really nice. You can have a furnished apartment, but if you have your own furniture or waiting to get furniture, you can just move it out. When she needs a hospital bed, it’s already there and paid for. There actually was some miscommunication, and they weren’t ready for Grandma, but they jumped to it and got her a room. Her stuff is stored for now until she can get a bigger room. They are very accommodating,
