My dad is in Amber Manor Care Center. It’s a very good nursing home, They provide very good care. It’s clean. They’re engaged with the residents. They’re very engaged with their residents and they do care about them and talk to them. Every time he goes down the hall, they call him by his first name. They meet all of his needs. The food is not great, it’s nursing home food, but it’s OK. They keep it up very well. They’re always playing bingo, they have gatherings in the courtyard where they play music, and they get together, watch television together, they have computer/ youtube/ TV. They have people around them, and they’re reading stories and going over news articles with them. They do have a very active engagement with their residents. They seemed well- staffed, and I’ve not had any bad experiences.
