The staff of Shelby Farms Senior Living campus in Shelbyville came together this holiday season to donate to Operation Care, a non-profit that supports families in transition, especially women and children, with housing and other assistance. The team at Shelby Farms generously collected just over$1500 to help further the organization’s mission. They also collected a van full of other necessities including diapers and personal care items to help those in need.

“We are honored to be a part of Shelbyville and support our friends and neighbors. It’s part of our dedication to be servant leaders. In everything we do, we look for ways to serve others,” Shelby Farms Executive Director Brittany Faucher said.

Brittany and the team personally delivered the cash donation and personal care items to Operation Care this morning.

Shelby Farms’ efforts are part of an annual tradition for Trilogy Health Services called Hope for the Holidays. Each of the company’s 126 campuses select a charity or cause to support. In years past, Trilogy employees have donated as much as $300,000 to support local organizations in the communities they serve.
