At Smith’s Mill Health Campus we’re dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers. But don’t take our word for it, read the reviews of our community for yourself!
Stayed here on medical travel in November 2021. The staff is great, very helpful and super friendly. The room we were in was extremely clean. The food was great, loved being able to pick what we wanted from a menu.
My mom moved into independent living six months ago and absolutely loves it here! The staff is over the top kind and attentive; we had a couple of very minor hiccups, but they handled everything quickly and with a smile. The independent living apartments are beautiful, bright and really huge. They have tons of activities, family days, and even let Mom teach others her crafting skills, which has given her purpose. It really feels like a family, she loves it here, and we are so happy Mom chose this place!
Smiths Mill Loves their residents!!! Come check them out… My wife’s Grandad received loving care. The staff went above and beyond to take care of Grandad and they even learned how to make a proper cup of British tea for him!!
Amazing facility with super friendly staff that makes you feel right at home!
I’ve worked here for about a year now and I can say I never want to leave. Great experience working here ! So many great opportunities to advance. The food is amazing. The staff is always welcoming so stop by take a tour of this beautiful building and we will have our tour bread ready for you. It feels like a place to call home not just for employees but for our residents and their families!
I am extremely fortunate and thankful that my friend found this place for my mom! After the passing of my father, I needed to move her to Ohio to be close to me again. This place has been a BLESSING for both her and myself. The staff is amazing, supportive and thoughtful. The amount of progress my mother has made in 3 shorts weeks of therapy (PT, OT and Speech) is tremendous and Ryan, Mallory, Mo and Shelly are phenomenal! The nurses, I also can’t say enough either, just fabulous. The activities are fun and keep the residents busy and having fun together. It truly is like a family, so excited for my mom to continue staying here as a resident. Thank you to everyone there for your love and support!
Wonderful company to work with, so many benefits, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow!
Great place for anyone retired looking for a different way of living What are waiting on Go get it
Recently my mother stayed at Smiths Mill and I was highly impressed with the services and care she received. With all the concerns surrounding the COVID circumstances, my family and I were obviously very worried for her and her safety; but the staff are very compliant with PPE and were very impressive with their approach. We had wonderful outcomes with the therapy team there (Abby is absolutely wonderful). Everyone was extremely kind and caring. Tom, the head chef, is phenomenal and prepares food that is very desirable. Nick, from the marketing team, gave us frequent updates and was very accommodating with arranging outdoor visits. Upon being cut by her insurance, we did a transitional stay the Assisted Living for a week and we were very please with the price structure. She continues to do very well at home. The staff have called a few times to check up on mom and we continue to be impressed with Smiths Mill well beyond her stay. I highly recommend this campus for any type of post-acute rehab!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire staff. My brother is dying but he loves it here which is a great relief. Today I witnessed Andrea provide such comfort to him, coming right away when I asked, chatting amiably with us while she worked, asking him if there was anything else that he needed, listening to his requests and responding with such kindness and compassion. I was moved and impressed. Thank you.
My husband had shoulder surgery at JIS and we stayed at Smith’s mill Health campus. This place was amazing. Room was gorgeous and staff is nice and helpful. Would recommend anyone to stay here for recovery. Also, food was delivered to our room and was great. We felt at home there.
A great feeling of right at “home” just walking in. Food exceeded all expectations- great quality and personal attention. On your tour or visit make sure to get a loaf of the signature cranberry walnut bread- ours barely made it home! So good!
I have worked with Trilogy Heath Services for almost 3 years and have been at Smith’s Mill for over a 1 year… this community it amazing. When it’s easy to come to work it creates a positive workplace. It also creates a place where residents are happy and feel comfortable within their new home. I am confident you will also find happiness in Smith’s Mill! Not to mention their food is amazing, have professional staff, and fun environment not only for a place to work, but for residents to LIVE!
The people at Smith’s Mill Health Campus have made my mom and myself feel so welcome. The campus is beautiful and is equipped with the latest technology and the food is amazing ,but most of all it’s the people who work at Smith’s Mill and the excellent care my mom has received, from the moment she arrived. I live in New Albany and feel so blessed to have my mom in the same community that we live in. Smith’s Mill Health Campus holds to New Albany’s high standard of health and wellness and I am so glad we found them
Smiles and good hearted people. I feel welcome everyday that I come to work.
Smith’s Mill health campus is the best place I’ve ever worked. I have been with the facility for nearly two years and enjoy coming to work everyday. Our residents make my day and make all the trials worth while. Our team works hard together to provide care and a facility that is home for our residents and do our absolute best to provide an environment where they get to LIVE their best lives!
I’m in the skilled nursing care at Smith’s Mill Health Campus, but they also have just assisted living. The experience has been very good. They seem to be on top of all of the recommendations from the hospital. They seem to want to have a plan in place very quickly. I saw physical therapy this morning and we’ve already made a little bit of progress from yesterday in the hospital. There seems to be a coordinated idea of the path that I’m going to be taking and I think the staff is very supportive. The room I’m in is a private room. It has a bath, a toilet, and a small roll-in shower. There is Wi-Fi in the room, which is nice, and they provide a flat-screen TV. There is a large chair, a small armoire, and several bureaus with drawers underneath for storage. The food is excellent, I can’t say enough about the dietary aspect. I’m not ambulatory so I’m not able to go down the dining area but that is one of our goals, to get me to the dining area as quickly as possible, possibly within the next couple of days. I would not be ambulatory to do that. I would have to be taken in a wheelchair or whatever. Like all facilities, I think they could have more robust staffing but that’s just because the people are not out there. It’s not anything that they’re doing or not doing. I guess the services that they’re able to provide are still excellent.
I work here in the kitchen, it’s very rewarding to serve these residents!
One week in and we couldn’t be happier. We will update this post later; however, only a substantial lapse (in one of the dimensions below) would lead us to consider moving our loved one. My son and I undertook a rigorous process of finding a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that was appropriate for my wife of 55 years — e.g., staffing levels, skill sets, range of care programs (PTOT, LTC, Memory), service levels, enrichment programs, ease of access, quality controls … even the quality of the food. Our initial list of Medicare approved and 4/5 star rated (on medicare.gov) SNFs totaled nearly 30 within a 20 mile radius. We then spoke to an extended personal network of Therapists, Nurses, and friends & family who had first hand experience with SNFs. After this, our list narrowed to nine (9) SNFs. Of these nine (9), we drove by /stuck our head into registration desk (to snoop around amidst Covid restrictions) and read hundreds of online reviews (google, yelp, and even job posting websites for employer-employee reviews). Following this our list quickly narrowed to four (4) facilities on the East / Northeast quadrant of the Columbus MSA. Smith’s Mill Health Campus was far and away our #1 choice (with the others clustered as distant #’s 2-4). We consider ourselves to be extremely fortunate and have had these feelings validated with each and every interaction with the staff, facility and our loved one (wife and mother). Thank you SMHC!
