Franciscan Health Care Center was very clean, nice, and updated. The office staff that helped me figure out all our options was very helpful, caring, and kind. All the residents seemed happy and they had a lot of activities for them to do. I was there one day and they had live music in one of the lounge rooms. They also have bingo, aerobics, and cooking classes.

Took great care of my mother in law and bent over backwards to help us.

Very clean nice rehab center . Thank you everyone that took care of my dad while he stayed for rehabilitation after surgery . From the cafe to the house keeping all the staff are nice and deserve a raise this Christmas!!!

My parents moved into Franciscan Health Care Center. The staff is generous and nice. They seem like they care. It is a nice place and clean. I have no problems with it so far. It’s like a normal apartment and has a lot of space. They have a chapel, a beauty salon, and an outside patio. They have a lot of activities, like bingo. It seems like they have nice food. They have three meals a day. My dad loves everything.

From their admissions team to their Social workers to their Receptionist and Cook….Every soul that works there is so kind. You are greeted with a smile and they do all that they can to help you.

My sister is in and out of Franciscan Health Care Center. It’s a nice place and I have no problems with nobody there. She was in a private room, it’s nice and big, she has a closet, couch, and bathroom in there. They have activities for the residents like bingo, and so on. Last Friday, a friend took her into the main lobby and they had karaoke. The staff was nice, they bent over backward to meet her needs, and they were wonderful. Everybody loves my sister there. It’s all on one floor, they’ve got certain wings, but everything’s on one level.

They are a great place they toke good g Care of my mother. The only problem she had was she with some of the food. But she loved the stuff.

They took excellent care of both my parents when they were there. Exceptional staff!

I took my aunt to Franciscan Health Care Center for her rehab. She only had 20 days under Medicare guidelines, so after that I had to find her another place with a Medicaid bed. With this COVID issue, no one’s even entered. She’s happy and would have liked to stay there. They kind of give you a little more personal thing, even when she’s there I at least get to talk to the director and the people at the desk. So even if I didn’t go to her room at least I got to talk to people face to face.

Great place decent helpfulness

Not near our homes, but this staff is worth the drive! (We had a bad experience at a different facility which was convenient for all of us, but my parent was treated really poorly there). Franciscan has been a godsend for my Dad over the last 6 months. His medical situation has declined and he has been in both the rehab and long-term care wings. The Rehab wing has the best, most dedicated nurses in the city. The facility Doctor has been engaged and thoughtful in his assessment and treatment of my Dad. He has listened to both of my parents and me, answered multiple questions, recommended a 2nd opinion (from a different specialist than we had seen) and has been available every time we needed him. The Business Office staff and Social Workers have been exceptionally helpful to my Mom and I, explaining how the facility bills, how our Long Term Care insurance works, etc. The Food and Laundry services have been great, too. Hot food, good selection of menu items… The laundry is next-day service. Parts of the facility are older, but they are not bad. This is my family’s 3rd nursing home experience, so we have a basis of comparison. I recommend Franciscan to anyone searching for their parent’s care!

My mother-in-law is currently placed at Franciscan Health Care Center and she’s happy where she’s at. We chose it because of its convenience and availability. The staff is fine. Communication is good. The food is good, but it’s bland, and it’s what they generally feed older people. You don’t want to put pepper or chili powder or lemon or anything that’s not good for them. The dining area is run well. They have the regular bingo, they have a little game area, and they have a chapel. I would recommend this facility.
