Louisville, KY (May 01 2008) Trilogy Health Services, LLC ("Trilogy") today announced the acquisition of Vibrant!, an Evansville, Indiana based home health company. The details of the deal were not disclosed.

Vibrant! has offered home health services to resident of southwest Indiana since 1991. Their service area coincides with several of the markets in which Trilogy Health Services operates, and their service lines are consistent with Trilogy's plans to diversify its long term care model.

"Trilogy's strategic plan is to expand our continuum of care model by providing a full menu of personal and healthcare services at home in the communities in which we operate," stated Leigh Ann Barney, Senior Vice President for Trilogy Health Services. "This strategy allows us to provide additional support services for the residents who leave our facilities after a short-term rehabilitative stay or who currently reside in independent living housing located on our campuses. We believe Vibrant's excellent community reputation and great employee base make it an ideal platform for Trilogy's introduction into this business."

Trilogy's expansion into home and community-based services began in 2007 when Mary Lynn Spalding joined the Trilogy staff as Vice President of Community Services. Ms. Spalding had previously served as Vice President and CEO of VNA Nazareth Home Care, a division of Jewish Hospital St. Mary's Healthcare, in Louisville, KY. These services will be offered through Trilogy Health Services' recently established subsidiary, TriStar Services, LLC, and will include non-medical staffing service (assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, transportation and housekeeping) as well as certified home health services.

In other news, Trilogy Health Services announced the opening of it's 48th health campus and the acquisition of it's 49th facility.

In Bellevue, Ohio, Trilogy is opening The Willows at Bellevue located on the campus of The Bellevue Hospital, which opened in 2006. The newly constructed facility is built on the "Town Square" Residential Living model created by Trilogy Health Services. The Town Square design allows residents to maximize their independence, while creating a more home-like, less institutional atmosphere. The Town Square design features a predominance of private rooms and has living areas designed as a neighborhood, creating a sense of community for each resident. Services will include Adult Day Services, Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing and Memory Care. Independent Living Villas are also under construction on the site and will open later this fall. These options will allow The Willows to care for a wide variety of residents – from those who need little assistance to those with complex medical needs.

According to Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy, "We are very proud to be serving Bellevue and the surrounding area and are extremely grateful to the Board of The Bellevue Hospital for allowing us to become part of their healthcare community. Our 'Town Square' residential concept is designed to create as much as a home like setting as possible. When combined with superior service focused on meeting individualized needs of each customer, we believe our campus will set the standard for senior care in Bellevue and the four county area."

In Michigan, Trilogy has acquired West Winds Nursing Home, a 50-bed skilled care facility in Commerce, Michigan. West Winds is Trilogy's third acquisition in the state. Future plans for West Winds include the acquisition of land in the Commerce, MI community in order to build a state-of-the-art replacement facility for the existing building and to allow for expansion of additional services, including independent living, assisted living and a specially designed facility for those clients with Alzheimer's or other dementia. The new continuum of care health campus will be completed and ready for occupancy by mid 2009.

Additional expansion plans for Trilogy Health Services over the next quarter include the opening of two new health campuses in Colerain Heights/Cincinnati, Ohio and Terre Haute, Indiana.
