Louisville, KY (June 24 2009) Trilogy Health Services has just completed their first Annual “Spring for a Meal” Food Drive. Dare to Care, a non-profit food bank based in Louisville, along with dozens of other community food pantries were the recipients of the Trilogy Food Drive. As a whole, the company raised $113,513 through employee donations of cash and paid time off; along with 16,815 pounds of food.
All Trilogy employees were encouraged to donate food, cash or personal time off to this worthy cause. “Trilogy Health Services is committed to giving back to the communities we serve. Supporting organizations like local food pantries helps to make a difference and we wanted to respond to the increased needs of food pantries in our communities. At Trilogy we are constantly striving to make a positive difference,” says Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy Health Services.
The “Spring for a Meal” Food Drive was a company-wide initiative in which the Home Office based in Louisville and each of the 56 facilities throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky owned by Trilogy Health Services participated. Each campus selected a local food bank as the recipient of their donations.
