Louisville, KY (November 03 2011) Trilogy Health Services today announced the acquisition of Woodlands at Forest Ridge, a senior living community in New Castle, Indiana. Woodlands at Forest Ridge offers residential senior living in a 58-unit apartment building. Woodlands has been owned and operated by the Henry County Hospital Foundation.
This will be the second New Castle location for Trilogy, which also operates Glen Oaks Health Campus. Glen Oaks provides a variety of services including skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, memory care and licensed assisted living services. Effective with the acquisition, Woodlands name will be changed to Glen Oaks Senior Living at Forest Ridge to more closely align the facility with Trilogy’s current New Castle location, allowing the two locations to more effectively promote their complimentary services.
“Woodlands at Forest Ridge is known for providing the very best in service to seniors, and that aligns with our mission of providing compassionate service that exceeds the expectations of every customer,” said Randall Bufford, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trilogy. “We are excited to add this great group of employees who share our unwavering philosophy of compassion, caring and respect for the dignity of each resident to the Trilogy family, while also expanding the senior living services we currently offer in the New Castle/Henry County area.”
Chris Fields, Executive Director of Glen Oaks Health Campus added, “"This is an exciting opportunity to add independent living to the scope of services we provide the community. Our initial meetings with our new customers have been very encouraging, and we look forward to serving our residents, family members and employees in our new location." Fields will also serve as administrator for Glen Oaks Senior Living at Forest Ridge.
“The Henry County Hospital Foundation has taken great pride in developing Woodlands as the premier independent and assisted living facility in New Castle and Henry County. We are pleased that Trilogy/Glen Oaks is the new owner because of their local ties to our community and their commitment to providing quality senior services,” said Paul Janssen, president of Henry County Hospital Foundation and President/CEO of Henry County Hospital.
