Louisville, KY (October 25 2013) The residents of Forest View Health Campus are packing their belongings in preparation for a move that they have been eagerly anticipating since last year. With yesterday's opening of the Oaks at Bethesda, the moving date is closer than ever. While the residents’ journey may be short in distance, the difference in their new home is immeasurable.

The Oaks at Bethesda offers a full continuum of senior living and related health care services, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and assisted living; all offered in a homelike setting that features an abundance of private rooms with private baths, chef-prepared meals, and services specially tailored to meet residents’ individual preferences. The Oaks at Bethesda replaces Forest View, which Trilogy Health Services acquired in 2010 from Genesis HealthCare Systems. The Oaks of Bethesda is located at 2971 Maple Avenue in Zanesville.

The health campus is built on the “Village Center” Residential Living model created by Trilogy Health Services. The Village Center design allows residents to maximize their independence, while creating a more home-like, less institutional atmosphere. The design features a predominance of private rooms organized into short residential neighborhood areas creating a sense of community for each resident. Services will include Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Respite Care. These options will allow the campus staff to care for a wide variety of residents – from those who need little assistance to those with complex medical needs.

According to Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy, “We were excited to have the opportunity to serve the seniors in the Zanesville area when we first purchased Forest View in 2010. We are even more enthusiastic today to be able to offer these services in our ‘Village Center’ model community. Our new location will offer a very convenient and comprehensive health care solution for area seniors.”

“We like to say you can feel the difference the minute you walk through the doors of one of our campuses, and you see it everywhere you look,” Bufford continued. “From staff engagement and our focus on customer satisfaction, to the local flavors on our menus, and even the names given to our different residential hallways – everything at a Trilogy campus is focused on our customers’ preferences and helping them have strong social connections, engagement and purpose, while also providing options for all levels of healthcare.”

“We are thrilled to be serving residents of Zanesville, Muskingum County and the surrounding communities,” said Tony Perry, Executive Director of The Oaks at Bethesda. “We look forward to bringing our exceptional approach to resident care and services to area seniors. Everything about our campus is tailored to meet our residents’ needs and personal choices."

Trilogy Health Services will open a second Zanesville location, The Oaks at Northpointe, in November. This location will offer similar services to The Oaks at Bethesda (Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Adult Day Services and Respite Care), with the addition of memory care services. The Oaks at Northpointe is located at 3291 Northpointe Drive in Zanesville.

Both Oaks locations feature private suites with private baths, and numerous living rooms where residents can relax and visit with guests. The resident living areas are organized into neighborhoods, allowing caregivers and residents to truly get to know each other and establish long-term relationships. That same resident-centered focus is carried through to activity planning, menu selection and other campus programs.

“We invite members of the community to attend our Community Open House at The Oaks at Bethesda on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to take tours of our campus and meet our team of caregivers,” continued Perry. “We will also host a Community Open House at The Oaks at Northpointe on Sunday, November 10 from 1:00 to 3:00.”

Trilogy communities offer a full range of personalized senior living services, from independent and assisted living, to skilled nursing and rehabilitative services in 76 senior living communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois. Trilogy’s senior living services are delivered by staff specially trained to honor and enhance the lives of our residents through compassion and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
