Trilogy Health Services announced today the opening of their 80th health campus in Lexington, Kentucky.
Lexington, KY (April 30 2014) Trilogy Health Services announced today the opening of their 80th health campus in Lexington, Kentucky. The Willows at Citation features a full continuum of senior living and related healthcare services, including short-term rehabilitation, personal care, long-term care, and respite services; all offered in a homelike setting that features an abundance of private suites, chef-prepared meals, and services specially tailored to meet residents' individual preferences and achieve our goals of providing home, hospitality and healthcare.
The Willows is built on the "Village Center" residential living model created by Trilogy Health Services. The Village Center design allows residents to maximize their independence, while creating a more homelike, less-institutional atmosphere. The design features small neighborhood clusters that surround a central gathering area featuring a full service restaurant, ice cream parlor, health club and other amenities; creating a sense of community for residents and families.
Services in the Village Center will include Personal Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Respite Care. These options will allow the campus staff to care for a wide variety of residents - from those who need little assistance to those with complex medical needs. The Willows at Citation is located at 1376 Silver Springs Road. The Willows at Citation is Trilogy’s second Lexington location, joining The Willows at Hamburg, which opened in 2012.
According to Randall Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy, “Our commitment to a servant leadership culture and our dedication to providing exceptional customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations are the cornerstones of Trilogy’s operating philosophy. When you have great services, delivered by a dedicated and compassionate team of caregivers in our ’Village Center’ residential model, the result is a senior living experience that allows our residents to live truly meaningful lives.”
"We like to say you can feel the difference the minute you walk through the doors of one of our campuses, and you see it everywhere you look," Bufford continued. "From staff engagement and our Resident 1st philosophy, to the local flavors on our menus, and even the names given to our different residential hallways - everything at a Trilogy campus is focused on our customers' preferences and helping them have strong social connections, engagement and sense of purpose, while also providing options for all levels of healthcare."
“We are thrilled to expand our services to the residents of Lexington, Fayette County and the surrounding communities,” said Beth Blair, Executive Director of The Willows at Citation. “We look forward to bringing our exceptional approach to resident care and services to seniors on the north side of Lexington. We invite members of the community to attend our Community Open House on Sunday, May 4, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., to take tours of our campus and meet our team of caregivers."
The Willows is already getting rave reviews from community members. “We love the food that we eat here, and there are great people who work here,” commented Frances and Frank Morgan, who reside at The Willows. Dr. Hannah Karon, who is also a resident of The Willows added, "Everything is beautiful and elegant, and I love it here."
The Willows at Citation features private suites with private baths, and numerous common areas where residents can relax and visit with guests. The resident living spaces are organized into neighborhoods, allowing caregivers and residents to truly get to know each other and establish long-term relationships. That same resident-centered focus is carried through to healthcare services, activity planning, menu selection and other campus programs.
"As part of our opening celebration, we are offering special membership in our Founder’s Club,” Blair continued. “Membership in the Founder’s Club includes first selection of floor plan and suite location, no move in fees, and a discounted reservation fee. To qualify, you simply complete an application and put down a fully refundable deposit. We invite you to stop by our campus to learn more about the Founder’s Club and our other services.”
