At Trilogy Health Services, giving comes naturally. As a Louisville, KY based provider of senior health and hospitality services, Trilogy’s 12,000 plus team members are committed to providing exceptional care and services to the residents and families they serve on a daily basis.

This same spirit of giving extends to co-workers in Trilogy’s 96 communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. Through the Trilogy Foundation, Trilogy’s 501(c)3 non-profit subsidiary, educational scholarships are offered to employees (and their dependents) to encourage ongoing education, and emergency assistance is provided to those employees who suffer a catastrophic loss or illness. Twice a year, through the Trilogy Foundation, the Trilogy Health Services team members focus their spirit of giving on the communities they serve.

Most recently, Trilogy team members participated in Independence from Hunger, one of two annual fundraisers the company conducts. Last year, the teams raised nearly 720,000 pounds of food. The goal for 2015 was to raise 750,000 pounds. Through a true team approach, Trilogy employees exceeded this goal, raising over 949,000 pounds of food. This food is donated to local food banks and non-profit organizations to support those in need.  Donations come in the form of food products, as well as donations of Paid-Time-Off and payroll deductions.

Out of the 949,000 pounds total, 175,000 pounds was raised by the 300 members of Trilogy’s Louisville home office and will benefit Dare to Care.

“I’m honored to partner with our home office team and Dare to Care,” commented Shane Stuber, Director of the Trilogy Foundation. “Our 300 home office team members stepped up this year to achieve an amazing goal.”

“It is estimated that a family of four consumes approximately 582 pounds of food per month,” Stuber continued. “Based on our total of 949,000 pounds, we will be able to feed over 1,600 families for an entire month. I cannot thank our employees enough for their generosity.”

“Words cannot express the gratitude I feel when I see the amazing results our employees were able to achieve in this year’s food drive,” added Randall Bufford, CEO and President of Trilogy Health Services. “Servant Leadership is one of the cornerstones of our Trilogy culture, so giving back comes naturally to us. My personal thanks goes out to all of our campus and home office team members for their support of and participation in our Independence from Hunger food drive.”
