A Trilogy Health Services, LLC caregiver, Chlsey Montero of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, was named Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year by the National Association of Health Care Assistants (NAHCA).
NAHCA recognizes excellence through its prestigious series of awards for outstanding caregivers and their professional achievements and contributions in providing the highest quality of care attainable. The awards, which are bestowed each year at NAHCA’s Annual Key to Quality Awards Banquet, recognize exceptional NAHCA members working as caregivers to benefit long-term care and improve the quality of life for residents and staff.
As an employee of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Chlsey was also recently awarded the Trilogy Difference Maker Award at the Trilogy’s annual Spring Meeting in April, honoring her dedication and commitment to making a difference in residents’ lives on a daily basis. Commitment to a servant leadership culture and dedication to providing exceptional customer service that exceeds customers' expectations are the cornerstones of Trilogy's operating philosophy. Not only does Trilogy pride themselves on providing exceptional service to residents and their families, but also to their employees, by encouraging and supporting their growth, both professionally and personally.
This is the second year in a row a Trilogy Health Services employee has received this honor. Last year, Margaret Bailey from Westport Place Health Campus in Louisville, Kentucky, was recognized.
Out of the hundreds that were nominated for the honor of CNA of the Year, NAHCA felt that Chlsey Montero was the best candidate for the award. In order to be nominated for CNA of the Year, one must have a minimum of five years of experience in the same facility and possess qualities and attributes in these categories: Devoted Service Excellence, Excellence in Leadership, Person Centered Service, Outstanding Attitude, Preceptor of the Year, Advancing Excellence and Professional Style.
