Resident and Staff dress in berets for Vive la France Theme Week.
By Team Trilogy |
April found our residents and staff jetting off to Paris for our second Theme Week of the Year, “Vive la France!” Throughout the week, everyone enjoyed the finest of French culture with outings to French restaurants, wine tastings, visits to fine art museums and so much more!

In our campuses, they enjoyed Parisian inspired activities such as painting in the style of French Impressionists, learning French phrases and poems, practicing the art of fencing and experiencing a Happy Hour complete with wine, cheese, and music.

When the time came to end the week with the Themed Dinner, residents were ready and waiting in their scarves and berets to see what a night in Paris would bring them – and they weren’t disappointed. Street artists were on hand to provide caricatures of our residents, just as they would have been if they were strolling down the streets of Paris. Mimes were also a favorite source of entertainment, with many playing along with their silent performance.

For dinner, our chefs whipped up the best in French cuisine. Among the dishes were Classic Croissants, Butter Lettuce with Poppy Seed and Tarragon Crème Fraîche Dressing, Braised Beef Chasseur, Chicken Coq au Vin, and Ratatouille. And for dessert, our residents were really in for a treat. They were delighted with Crème Brule’, Crepes, Éclairs, and more!

It really was an affair to remember! To see just how much fun residents at each of our campuses had in France, take a look at our Facebook Photo Album, and check out #TrilogyLiving on Twitter!
